Uinta Crooked Line Detour Double IPA:

OK, so I’ve pretty much fallen in love with the Crooked line, and I have a crush on Uinta in general. This one’s rather sweet at first (caramely), with a great slick/thick body to it. Finishes bitter, with lingering citrus rind and pine. Malty all the way through. DIPA is a category I LOVE so while this might not make it to my top ten, it definitely holds its own against many awesome beers. Personally I wish it was just a little more hoppy/resiny, as it’s pretty darn malty, but that’s a totally subjective opinion. I’m a happy camper with this one just as it is.
